We at InLeisure are always excited to share our experiences and the joy of exploring new places. This past weekend, we had the pleasure, together with our colleagues from Roompot, of testing our latest project, Roompot Beach Resort Agde, located in the picturesque French coastal village of Le Grau d'Agde. Together with colleagues, friends, and family, we embarked on a journey of discovery and enjoyment.
Our weekend was filled with a variety of activities that allowed us to fully experience the charm of the region. We went biking through the scenic landscapes, visited the historic town of Agde, and explored local businesses including an oyster farm and a winery. We were also privileged to visit a large fish company where we learned about their sustainable fishing practices for tuna and other smaller fish. Of course, no weekend in the South of France would be complete without a trip to the beach, complemented by delicious local food and wine.
On June 30, 2023, Roompot will officially open the doors of the brand new Roompot Beach Resort Agde to the public. The resort, developed by InLeisure, is nestled near the Mediterranean Sea in a region renowned for its excellent wine and delectable oysters. It's a place designed for relaxation and enjoyment of the best that La Douce France has to offer.
The resort features 76 luxury lodges, each designed with modern aesthetics and equipped with all the comforts of home. From the cozy sitting area to the well-equipped kitchen and the veranda with garden furniture, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The resort also boasts a brasserie serving delicious local products, a snack corner, a mini shop, a Kids Club, and a heated outdoor pool.
InLeisure developed the resort with a strong commitment to sustainability, adhering to the principles of the Green Key certification. The use of sustainable building materials and a commitment to sourcing local products as much as possible are just some of the ways we're minimizing our ecological footprint.
The surrounding area offers a wealth of attractions. From the picturesque canals of Sète to the historic city of Béziers, there's something for everyone. Nature lovers will appreciate the natural habitats and lagoons where flamingos breed, and the volcanic beaches offer a unique seaside experience.
This project marks another successful collaboration between InLeisure and Roompot, following our previous projects in the Netherlands. We're excited to bring our combined expertise to France and look forward to welcoming our first guests on June 30, 2023.
